Boise Skylight

Same day estimate and same week install of my new hybrid attic fan in prep for record height temps coming. I took Paul’s recommendation and went with a hybrid fan so it runs off solar during the day and electric at night when needed. I could feel an instant temp difference in the bonus room upstairs. We can now use it all through the summer months comfortably. Couldn’t be happier with their quick, knowledgeable, and professional team. About 8 years ago Paul installed a skylight in my living room. He did excellent work then and his team does excellent work now too!

My husband and I recently moved into a 10-year old home and the front hallway was ridiculously dark. We hired Paul (and Steven!) to install two solar tubes in the hallway and it looks AMAZING! My husband worked with Paul to set things up and I worked with Steven when he came to install the tubes…both of our experiences were second to none. These men know their business, they are incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. Steven was very prompt the day of installation and worked quickly to install the tubes. He cleaned up after himself and honestly I’ve never seen anyone do such a great installation job, start to finish. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Boise Skylight to anyone looking to add more light into their homes! Their prices were fair, their service was impeccable, and they were just so friendly. We simply cannot say enough about them–they truly are that good!

Steven and Paul of Boise Skylight were honest, quick, did an extremely professional job. I can’t recommend them enough! The whole process was affordable and completely hassle-free: Boise Skylight took care of everything. We had two sun tunnels installed in our bathroom and kitchen – what a world of difference! Boise Skylight installed two solar tubes to brighten up the darkest corners of my dining room and hallway. I cannot believe how much light the tubes emit, but they do not heat up my house like a window or skylight and the diffusers soften the direct sunshine. Paul was great at explaining the process and listening to my needs when he came over to bid on the project, and Phil and Steven installed both solar tubes and cleaned up, including running a vacuum, in about two hours. No muss, no fuss, very reasonably priced, and so much more energy efficient. I highly recommend Boise Skylight!

I am so happy. I made a call for an estimate last Friday. Paul came out within hours to look at the job. I wanted two solar tubes, a 14” for the dark stairwell and a 10” for a cave like bathroom. He gave me a verbal estimate and then gave me a written bid over the weekend. On Monday I agreed and three days later the job was completed by Phil. It actually cost $50 less than the bid as Phil said the extra extension wasn’t needed. Frankly, I wouldn’t have known that and appreciated his honesty. The solar tubes have made a huge differences. I would highly recommend this family owned company.

I give Boise Skylight, Steven, his Dad and the whole crew 5 stars!! They are knowledgeable, punctual, and just nice people. They all did a great job. I love my skylight. Wish I had done it sooner. Next Spring I plan on two more. It was a pleasure getting to know everyone.

I have a crazy steep roofline and skylights that in the past 5 years everyone has refused to service. Stephen didn’t hesitate for a second to get on my roof and take care of the issue we were having with our skylights. He was courteous and professional, worked efficiently and was reasonably priced. No hesitation in recommending for skylight repair.

Steve and Paul were very personable and did great work. We had a skylight replaced, that had leaked for ten years, even though we had patched it numerous times. Now, we don’t dread the rain.

Had my skylight installed in November and is doing great. Install was good but a bit of a scramble getting the drywall guy to show up with some missed appointments. Paul and his son are great at getting back to you if issues arise and the tax credit was very accurate. When doing taxes make sure to state that the project was solar, not just a skylight to get the full credit. (Assuming you get the solar blinds added) Overall very pleased with the purchase!

I had 3 leaking skylights repaired/replaced. I’d been procrastinating thinking it would be too expensive, that the damage to the surrounding area and drywall would be too much. Immediately Steve put me at ease, gave me a fair price, and at the end of the day I have beautiful skylights with convenient solar lighting for the evenings. Not only did he do a wonderful job, he provided guidance and ideas for future remodels. Fair priced, quality work, and peace of mind. I look forward to doing more business with Boise Skylight in the future!

Awesome experience. Called for a quote on 4 skylights and he was out in a heartbeat. The quote was for less then I had anticipated and they were ready to install the next day. The install was fast clean and non intrusive. I can’t ever remember a transaction that went as smooth as this one. Better quality than I anticipated for less than I thought it would be and installed fast and clean. What’s not to love! Highly recommended.
